Let me clear up the confusion first: silver nursing cups and silver nipple covers are usually the same thing. The names get used interchangeably, and most brands sell one product under both labels.

Let me start with the thing that surprises most people: silver nursing cups and nipple breastfeeding shields are not competitors. They do different jobs, at different times, for different problems.

I've been manufacturing silver nursing cups for over a decade. Before that, I spent years in medical-grade silver components. So when I talk about this product, I'm not repeating marketing copy. I'm talking about what happens on the production floor, what the test reports actually show, and why some cups work while others fail.
